The Pride of Nation Awards, an initiative by Veterans India, is a national platform dedicated to recognizing individuals and institutions contributing to nation-building, social transformation, and patriotic leadership, aligned with NEP 2020, NAAC, NBA, and UN SDGs. Beginning in 2025 as the Foundation Year, the focus is on identifying and honoring grassroots heroes across sectors like education, social service, youth leadership, and women empowerment, with outreach to 500+ institutions and 5,000 nominations.
In 2026, the Expansion Year, the initiative scales nationwide through AICTE institutions, CSR collaborations, and digital nomination systems, introducing new categories such as sustainability and inclusive education. By 2027, the National Consolidation phase establishes the awards as a credible national platform with strong integration into academic and leadership ecosystems, culminating in a grand national ceremony.
In 2028, the Global Outreach phase expands the awards internationally to include NRIs and global Indian contributors through global partnerships and hybrid ceremonies. Finally, in 2029, the Legacy Building phase institutionalizes the awards through a national council, annual impact reports, and policy engagement, creating a sustained ecosystem of recognition, motivation, and transformation for nation-building.
