In 2018, Veterans India organized a historic and highly inspiring 2200 ft Tiranga March at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), symbolizing unity, patriotism, and unwavering respect for the nation. Conducted under the spirit of Nation First – Patriot First, the march aimed to ignite national pride and a sense of responsibility among youth and students.

This grand event witnessed the distinguished presence of Major General G. D. Bakshi, Dharmendra Pradhan, and the JNU Chancellor, whose participation added immense dignity and inspiration to the occasion. Carrying a magnificent 2200-foot-long Indian National Flag, the march saw enthusiastic participation from ex-servicemen, students, and citizens united in their love for the nation.

More than just an event, the Tiranga March was a powerful expression of nationalism—honoring the sacrifices of the armed forces while promoting unity, discipline, and collective responsibility within academic spaces. It transformed the campus atmosphere into one of pride and patriotic fervor.
