Partnership Policy of Veterans India
This policy defines the principles, eligibility, process, responsibilities and ethical standards for partnerships, collaborations, MoUs, CSR projects, sponsorships and institutional engagements with Veterans India.
1. Purpose of the Policy
Veterans India is a national, apolitical and patriotic organisation working to transform patriotism into disciplined, organised and visible national service. Partnerships help expand this mission through collective action, resources, expertise, outreach and implementation.
This Partnership Policy ensures that all collaborations are mission-aligned, transparent, ethical, lawful, accountable and beneficial to society.

2. Scope of Partnership
Veterans India may enter into partnerships, collaborations, MoUs or project-based engagements with organisations whose objectives align with national service, public welfare, education, skill development, youth empowerment, veterans welfare and social impact.

3. Partnership Principles
Every partnership with Veterans India shall follow these core principles:
- Nation First: Partnership must support national interest and public welfare.
- Apolitical Character: Partnership must not be used for political promotion or party agenda.
- Transparency: Roles, responsibilities and contributions should be clearly defined.
- Integrity: Collaboration must be ethical, lawful and reputation-safe.
- Mutual Respect: Partners must respect the identity, values and governance of Veterans India.
- Impact Orientation: Partnership should create measurable value for society.
- Accountability: Activities, funds and outcomes should be properly documented.
Veterans India partnerships are not commercial endorsements. They are mission-oriented collaborations for national service and social impact.

- Youth leadership, discipline, personality development and career guidance
- Motivational speaker sessions by defence leaders and national mentors
- Skill development, employability and entrepreneurship programmes
- Preventive health, wellness and medical camps
- Veteran welfare, war widows and dependents support
- Education, digital literacy, smart classrooms and knowledge initiatives
- Women empowerment, self-defence and safety programmes
- Environment, climate action, tree plantation and sustainability projects
- Disaster response, fire safety, first aid and emergency preparedness
- Legal awareness, financial literacy and civic responsibility campaigns

5. Eligible Partners
Veterans India may consider partnership with organisations or individuals who meet basic eligibility and integrity requirements.
- Legally registered institutions or organisations
- Reputed corporates, PSUs, foundations and CSR entities
- Recognised educational institutions and training centres
- NGOs or social organisations with credible public work
- Professionals, experts, mentors and philanthropists with clean public reputation
- Organisations committed to lawful, ethical and public welfare objectives
- Partners willing to follow Veterans India’s apolitical and patriotic framework
6. Non-Eligible or Restricted Partnerships
Veterans India reserves the right to refuse or discontinue any partnership that may harm its mission, reputation, legal compliance or apolitical identity.
- Political parties, political campaigns or partisan platforms
- Entities involved in unlawful, unethical or anti-national activities
- Organisations with doubtful reputation, fraud history or financial misconduct
- Partners seeking personal, commercial or political misuse of Veterans India name
- Activities promoting hatred, discrimination, division or communal disharmony
- Projects inconsistent with national interest, public welfare or organisational objectives
- Partnerships that demand control over Veterans India governance, name, logo or internal decisions
7. Partnership Process
Partnership may be initiated through proposal, discussion, invitation, MoU request, CSR proposal, institutional communication or official enquiry.
- Submission of partnership proposal or enquiry
- Review of partner profile, objective and alignment
- Discussion on scope, role, responsibility and expected outcome
- Approval by competent authority of Veterans India
- Signing of MoU, agreement, letter of collaboration or project document, where required
- Programme planning, implementation and monitoring
- Documentation, reporting and review of partnership outcome
No partnership shall be considered official unless approved by competent authority of Veterans India.
8. MoU & Documentation
Where required, Veterans India and the partner organisation may enter into a Memorandum of Understanding, agreement, collaboration letter or project document.

9. Financial Partnership, CSR & Sponsorship
Any financial partnership, CSR support, sponsorship, donation, grant or project funding must follow the Donation Policy and Financial Management Policy of Veterans India.
- Funds should be transferred only through official and traceable channels
- CSR and project funds should be used for approved project objectives
- Sponsorship terms should be clearly recorded
- Utilisation details may be shared as per approved project framework
- Payments should not be made to personal bank accounts
- Partners should not offer or demand unlawful commission, favour or personal benefit
Financial partnership must strengthen public trust, transparency and measurable impact.
10. Branding & Public Communication
Use of Veterans India name, logo, flag, tagline, certificate, banner, social media identity or public communication must follow approved branding guidelines.
- Partner must not use Veterans India logo without permission
- Joint publicity should be approved before release
- Veterans India should not be shown as endorsing unrelated commercial products
- Public communication must be factual, respectful and non-political
- Photographs, videos and event material may be used for reporting and awareness
- Any misuse of logo, name or brand identity may lead to termination of partnership
11. Roles & Responsibilities of Partners
Partners are expected to support the partnership with responsibility, transparency and commitment.
- Follow the agreed scope of work
- Provide accurate information and authorised communication
- Nominate responsible coordinators for coordination
- Ensure proper venue, logistics and participant support where applicable
- Follow safety, dignity and public discipline during activities
- Support documentation, reporting and impact measurement
- Respect Veterans India’s apolitical identity and national mission
12. Responsibilities of Veterans India
Veterans India shall support approved partnerships through its organisational framework, subject to scope and availability of resources.
- Provide programme concept, guidance and coordination
- Nominate authorised representative or coordinator
- Support mobilisation of volunteers, mentors or speakers where applicable
- Provide programme format, SOP or activity plan where required
- Maintain documentation and reporting as agreed
- Use partner support for approved objectives
- Protect the dignity, neutrality and integrity of the collaboration
13. Data Protection & Confidentiality
Partners may have access to participant, volunteer, donor, institutional or beneficiary information during collaboration. Such information must be handled responsibly.
- Data should be used only for approved partnership purpose
- Personal information should not be sold, misused or transferred unlawfully
- Confidential documents, proposals or internal communication should not be disclosed without permission
- Partner must follow privacy and data protection expectations
- Photographs and videos should be used respectfully and only for authorised reporting or publicity
14. Conflict of Interest
Any conflict of interest must be disclosed by partners, office bearers, coordinators or representatives involved in partnership decisions.

- Unauthorised commission, referral fee or personal reward
- Use of partnership for private business promotion
- Any situation affecting impartiality or public trust
15. Monitoring, Reporting & Impact
Veterans India and partner organisations may monitor and document partnership activities to assess output, impact and learning.

- Beneficiary details, where applicable
- CSR utilisation and project reports
- Media coverage and social media updates
- Outcome and impact summaries
Reporting may be shared with donors, partners, CSR entities, institutions or public platforms where appropriate.
16. Termination of Partnership
Veterans India may suspend, withdraw or terminate any partnership if the partner violates agreed terms, organisational values or legal requirements.

- Political, unlawful or unethical activity
- Financial irregularity, fraud or misrepresentation
- Failure to follow agreed scope or reporting requirements
- Damage to public trust or reputation
- Conflict of interest or unauthorised personal benefit
- Violation of privacy, data or confidentiality norms
Partnership is built on trust. Any action that damages trust may lead to immediate review or termination.
17. No Legal Agency or Employment
Unless specifically agreed in writing, partnership with Veterans India does not create employment, agency, franchise, ownership, joint venture or legal representation rights.
No partner, volunteer or representative may claim authority to bind Veterans India financially, legally or operationally without written approval from competent authority.

20. Policy Review & Update
