From Registration to Responsible Service
VPRF is designed not only to register volunteers, but to prepare them for disciplined, lawful and constructive participation.
Training and orientation help participants understand the values, responsibilities, conduct and service expectations associated with the Volunteer Patriotic Reserve Force.
The objective is to create volunteers who are informed, disciplined, responsible, service-oriented and prepared to contribute appropriately according to their age, role and capability.
A progressive pathway from basic orientation to advanced participation.
Orientation introduces participants to the purpose, values, responsibilities and limitations of VPRF before they move into structured training activities.
The first phase focuses on building the basic foundation required for disciplined and responsible volunteering.
The second phase develops deeper understanding of practical leadership, volunteer coordination and organised service.
Selected eligible participants may be considered for advanced or physical training according to programme requirements, age, fitness, availability and authorised training arrangements.
Every training stage should reinforce disciplined, respectful, lawful and accountable service.
Respect for time, responsibility, organisational guidelines and lawful authority.
Placing constructive community and national service above personal recognition.
Demonstrating responsibility through personal conduct and action.
Working respectfully with volunteers, institutions, communities and authorities.
