Preparing Volunteers for Responsible Service

VPRF is designed not only to register volunteers, but to prepare them for disciplined, lawful and constructive participation.

Training and orientation help participants understand the values, responsibilities, conduct and service expectations associated with the Volunteer Patriotic Reserve Force.

The objective is to create volunteers who are informed, disciplined, responsible, service-oriented and prepared to contribute appropriately according to their age, role and capability.

Advanced / Physical Training

Selected eligible participants may be considered for advanced or physical training according to programme requirements, age, fitness, availability and authorised training arrangements.

VPRF orientation and training sessions may be conducted online, offline or through approved institutional and community programmes. Participants should rely only on official Veterans India communication channels for authorised schedules, joining links and instructions.

Recognition must reflect actual participation and approved programme requirements.

Confirmation of successful orientation participation where applicable.

Training Certificate

Training participation certification subject to applicable programme guidelines.

Activity Certificate

Certification for eligible participation in authorised activities.

Advanced Recognition

Recognition for eligible advanced training where applicable.

Certification Clarification: Any certificate or recognition issued through VPRF reflects actual participation only and does not imply military, government, police, security or statutory status.

Code of Conduct

Every participant is expected to protect the discipline, credibility and lawful character of VPRF.

Maintain discipline.
Maintain respectful behaviour.
Maintain apolitical conduct.
Follow non-discrimination principles.
Use social media responsibly.
Respect local laws and administration.
No unauthorised fundraising.
No misuse of Veterans India or VPRF name, logo or identity.
No representation as military, police, government or security personnel.
Misuse or violation of authorised VPRF guidelines may lead to suspension or removal from VPRF activities.
